The Fungi Foundation has been around for over a decade. In this time, we have participated in events around the world to shine a spotlight on the least represented Kingdom. Below are some of our past activities.
Fungi Foundation collaborates with the designer Juan Ferrer of Museo del Hongos project at the Social Club of Artists, Santiago.
Fungi Foundation participates in the 32th International Art Biennial of São Paulo, Brazil and Giuliana Furci participates in a chat on fungi, art, and science with the artist Pia Lindman, researcher Cassius Stevani and the healer of the Biennial, Lars Bang Larsen.
Fungi Foundation launches their campaign "No Forest No Morels" next to the Patagonia region. The entomologist Alfredo Ugarte, Ricardo Fernández, Rodolfo Guzmán, Ana Tijoux, and the singer Javiera Parra are some of the endorsers of the campaign.
Fungi Foundation, along with Mutantes Producciones, funds the 1st Fungifest, Festival de Fungi, in the city of Valdivia.
Fungi Foundation organizes the 1st Latin American Course of Mycology in Chile together with University of Concepción, Parque Katalapi, and other institutions.
