The Fungi Foundation has been around for over a decade. In this time, we have participated in events around the world to shine a spotlight on the least represented Kingdom. Below are some of our past activities.
Fungi Foundation participates in Chile's biodiversity node in GBIF and is committed to sharing biodiversity data to improve conservation.
Giuliana Furci is invited to the Festival Universitario del Hongo de la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo to participate in the cycle of conferences “Los hongos y el desarrollo sustentable” Indigenous collection with Nanacateras de Acaxochitlán, Hidalgo, Mexico.
Fungi Foundation participates in the 5th Festival of Science in the Botanical Garden organized by PAR EXPLORA Valparaíso.
Daniela Torres carried out the project to perform the Annual Report of Mohammed Bin Zayed Conservation Fund 2016. This project was awarded to the Fungi Foundation for the protection of Butyriboletus Loyo (Boletus Loyo). The project is selected for the 2017 Annual Report.
